"There's No Place Like...", is a 30 minute, single-channel video piece that examines notions of authenticity and global nomadism through the lens of an international coworking experience.

Observational in style, this thirty minute, single-channel video project will examine values inherent in international work and travel through a comprehensive study of a month-long international coworking experience. I will embed myself into a coworking site in Cape Town, South Africa as a both a participant and a recorder of the process. Particular consideration will be paid to the intercultural values and socioeconomic realities that exist within these planned, international coworking communities. Video will informally capture the living space as well as the space in which all participants will be coworking.

This project will serve as an analysis of new international coworking models and the socio-cultural values embedded in such models. It will provide an informal study of travel and coworking as a reflective intercultural process. Digital nomads, travellers, coworking facilitators, and labor and tourism academicians may well find this project to be instructive and insightful. The goal of this project is to go well beyond simply showcasing an international coworking experience for potential participants. Instead, it is intended to serve as a highly involved, in-depth look at class, travel, value sharing between cultures, work, and constructed communal living.

Currently in pre-production of a film that examines women's pain, misdiagnoses and complicated experiences with our current medical system.
